Bread is something Skylar loves to eat and enjoy so she was really excited to make this. You could leave the herbs out if you prefer a classic french bread instead.

      Let’s get started!

      2 tablespoons of yeast

      1/2 cup warm water

      2 cups hot water

      3 tablespoons of raw sugar

      1/3 cup canola oil

      6 1/2 cups of flour

      1 teaspoon garlic salt

      1 teaspoon basil

      1 teaspoon oregano

      1 egg for brushing

In a bowl combine yeast and 1/2 cup of warm water and allow to dissolve for 10 minutes.

In a separate mixing bowl combine hot water, sugar, salt, oil, 3 cups of flour and all spices. Add the yeast mixture to the bowl.
      Mix to combine.
Add the remaining 3 1/2 cups of flour. Mix after each addition.
Once all combined let set for 10 minutes.
      Separate dough into 3 balls.
Roll each piece into a rectangle and roll into a log.
Place loaves onto a greased baking sheet and make several diagonal cuts.
Whisk the egg and add a dash of each spice. Brush over each loaf.
Let the loaves rise for 45 minutes and preheat the oven to 375. Bake for 20 minutes or until baked through.

One of my coworkers brought this dip in and it is AMAZING 🤤. You can up the spice by substituting the canned jalapeño for fresh but this recipe is pretty mild.

      You will need:

3 – 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese (room temperature)

      3 cups of Duke’s mayonnaise

2 – 4 oz. cans of diced jalapeños (hot)

1 – 4 oz. can of diced green chilis

      1 cup panko breadcrumbs

      1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

      How to make it:

      Preheat the oven to 350.

In a stand mixer combine the cream cheese and mayo until smooth.

Add in the jalapeños and diced chilis until mixed throughout.

Spread the dip evenly into a 8×8 glass dish.

In a separate bowl combine the panko and shredded parm.

Spread evenly over the dip mixture being sure to cover the entire surface.

Bake 35-45 minutes until golden brown.

Let it set for at least 15 minutes before serving.

      Serve with tortilla chips.
